About My Favorite Camera Reviews

Not too long ago the only way to photograph was to record it on film, drive through a Fotomat kiosk and then wait (yes wait) several days before viewing your prints. Now the waiting time has seemingly vanished. The waiting time is still there my friends, but now assigned to researching digital media choices!

For this reason the reviews on this site do not encompass ALL the cameras available from EVERY manufacturer. I carefully research and choose which cameras are worth considering and then do extensive field-testing.

The field-testing I do is real.
I don’t photograph color bars,
part-time models or the rainbow.

I photograph real life situations like Forced Family Fun (FFF) events, over priced vacations, and the occasional celebrity siting. My reviews are geared to be less technical then most so that the everyday person can easily understand them. I am interested in recommending cameras that simplify your digital life so that you can photograph smarter not harder.
